These are their names and their crimes.

#6. Dr Harold Shipman
He was an English doctor and by far he is of the world’s most prolific serial killers in recorded history. He was proven to commit up 250 murders. The sad fact was that he was a trusted doctor, and well respected in his community, but his colleagues and local undertakers became concerned on the high death rate in the area and the large number of cremation forms for elderly women that he had countersigned. Several bodies were later exhumed and post mortems revealed diamorphine within their system. It was later discovered that Shipman had purposely injected fatal doses of the drug in a huge number of patients, which led to their death. The main reason he was doing that was money. He was creating the victims’ wills so he could inherit large sums of money. He was getting rid of the victim’s bodies viacremation requests. The trial judge sentenced him to 15 consecutive life sentences and recommended that he never be released. In January 2004 Dr Shipman hanged himself in his cell at Wakefield Prison.
