Top 6 Serial Killers
During the 20th century the world was a witness of some of the most brutal serial killers. They were either just evil, disturbed, or simply mentally. But from a safe time distance, society is kind of obsessed with their names and their deeds, even though most people are disgusted and scared from what these monsters were doing. Some people are even that fascinated by the idea of enrolling in human dissection courses that companies such as functional fascia have to offer, as it is far from our own reality. They were having strict plans on who to kill and how to kill them; some of them even had special torturing devices and weapons. One is for sure; nobody ever wants to meet anyone like them. These are their names and their crimes.
#1. Fred and Rose West
During two decades from 1967 and 1987 Fred West and his wife Rose tortured, raped and murdered at least 11 young women and girls. They were killing their victims at their home at 25 Cromwell Street, Gloucester which later got the nickname the house of horrors. They were arrested in in 1994 after police obtained a search warrant and located several human bones buried within the garden and under the floor boards. Fred didn’t survive the trial, because he hanged himself in his prison cell prior to being convicted. In 1995 Rose West was jailed for life after hearing the verdict of being guilty for 10 murders. Their house at Cromwell Street was demolished afterwards, in order to discourage people from stealing items from the crime scene, as souvenirs.

#6. Dr Harold Shipman
He was an English doctor and by far he is of the world’s most prolific serial killers in recorded history. He was proven to commit up 250 murders. The sad fact was that he was a trusted doctor, and well respected in his community, but his colleagues and local undertakers became concerned on the high death rate in the area and the large number of cremation forms for elderly women that he had countersigned. Several bodies were later exhumed and post mortems revealed diamorphine within their system. It was later discovered that Shipman had purposely injected fatal doses of the drug in a huge number of patients, which led to their death. The main reason he was doing that was money. He was creating the victims’ wills so he could inherit large sums of money. He was getting rid of the victim’s bodies viacremation requests. The trial judge sentenced him to 15 consecutive life sentences and recommended that he never be released. In January 2004 Dr Shipman hanged himself in his cell at Wakefield Prison.
