Most Shocking Things You do not Expect to Find Inside a Person
What do you put into your mouth? Food and water of course! However, some people have gotten confused and some of the strangest things have been found lodged into their bodies. The things that have been found inside some people (people who are alive) are more than shocking. Imagine a spoon, a light bulb or even a belt stuck somewhere in your body.
Had a serious complication not pushed these individuals to seek medical care such things would never have been discovered. Thank God for X-rays and specialists who can decipher anomalies in the X-rays! Here are some of those strange but ridiculously funny things you could ever find inside the human body.
How does someone begin to swallow a spoon? Which end goes first? While you wonder about that, a 52 year old woman went to hospital in Rotterdam, Netherlands because of stomach pain. After an x-ray was done a spoon was seen. This shocked the doctors of course but they were in for a bigger surprise during surgery. The surgeons removed not one, not two but 78 pieces of silverware (forks and spoons) from the woman’s stomach. That is the entire cutlery collection of some canteen somewhere.
2 Light Bulb
A light bulb was discovered lodged in the pelvic region of a prison inmate. What is more is that the light bulb was not a torch light bulb. It was the conventional light bulb- big and highly brittle! Pakistani doctors removed the bulb from the prisoner who also seemed as surprised as everyone else. He said he had no idea how it got there.
Be warned do not use scissors for a toothpick lest you end up like a man in China who swallowed a pair. Apparently the man borrowed the scissors to use as a toothpick. The swallowing was funny- literally! A friend told a joke while he was picking his teeth. He laughed and in when the whole pair.
4 Engagement Ring
This is taking shoplifting to a whole new height. A man wished to get his girlfriend the ideal ring for their engagement. He did what every other man would do- visit a jewelry store. However, he had an ulterior motive. He did not want to pay for the awfully expensive ring and lo! He swallowed it. He attempted to leave with the ring in his stomach but was put into police custody. The ring was discovered some three days later when he passed it out.
5 Nail to the brain
Patrick Lawler thought he was suffering from a mere toothache. This was until he went to the dentist. The medical practitioner was also surprised to find a nail that passed all the way from the roof of his mouth through to his brain. Lawler had no idea he had it in him!
6 Cell Phone
To stay in touch with the outside world, an inmate in San Salvador saw it necessary to have a phone. Therefore, he swallowed his phone. He had the phone but he could not make calls nor receive them.
Now this is just scary. A grenade lodged in the stomach of a suicide bomber can go undetected by the security measures available today. Luckily, detonating the device would be impossible as a certain suicide bomber discovered. He was smart enough to swallow it to avoid detection while walking but did not think of how the device would be detonated.
