11 Places Most Tourists Will Never Want To Visit Ever Again
9Times Square in New York, USA
If you think of taking a nice walk through Times Square, you can be disappointed by the huge number of people that go by that place. The busy atmosphere can make the place dirty and unattractive. The giant flashing billboards are also not enough to attract your eyes and distract you from the crowd.
10Ubud rice fields in Bali
Tourists somehow find stripped rice plantations to be very attractive. This makes them spend money for entering, taking photographs and a swing ride. The price for entry is $1, photographs, $1.50 and swing ride for $7. The problem is the swings hang very low which makes it difficult for people to walk on the narrow roads. The crowds too make it no so worthwhile to visit the place again.
People who have visited Brussels once will advise you that there more disadvantages in visiting the city. Tourists will not be very impressed by the architecture of Brussels if they have visited other capital cities of Europe. The tiny sculpture at the top of the small fountain known as Manneken Pis is a major attraction but it can be hard to get a view of it because of the crowd and the fence around it.
There is also a huge amount of garbage and urinals present on the street. In Amsterdam, the urban environment is much more hygienic in comparison to Brussels.
It all depends on your perspective
All said and done, to be fair, the impression or attraction of a city of town is subjective and there are several factors that influence one’s opinion such as your fellow travel companions, the seasons and your own expectations. Maybe the Little mermaid may seem more appealing at twilight or the Picasso museum may be a surprise simply because you are a fan.
