5 Common iPhone problems and how to solve them all by yourself

The iPhone is Apple’s largest selling phone, which has become a status symbol worldwide. But these expensive phones also have a tendency to break or become faulty due to faulty operations by users, quite frequently. We have for you 5 common iPhone problems and their solutions.

1 The persistent Storage full problem

Now, unlike Android phones, the iPhone doesn’t come with the option to extend the memory using a memory card as iPhone doesn’t have any memory card slot. Therefore, if you want to buy an iPhone you should invest more in buying the higher storage option of 128GB than the 16GB version. But if you still manage to fill the storage on your phone, go to Settings>General>Storage> Manage storage and check what is eating up the storage on the phone. You can use Google Photos which stores your unlimited photos and videos to clean up storage. If your iCloud account is full, go to Settings > iCloud > Storage > Manage Storage and deleted the outdated backup.

2 Battery always low

Another annoying problem in iPhone is the less battery power which usually runs out before the day does. If your battery is low right now, you should go to Settings > General > Battery and enable the Low Battery option and also turn off the Battery Assist. Also go to Setting>Battery to see which apps are using up the maximum of battery and shut them off.

3 Frozen screen problem

What will you do if the screen freezes on the iPhone, well you cannot do more, but try shutting it off and on. However, if that doesn’t work for you, you have to hard reset the device. To do so, hold on the home button and the power button at the same time for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo. However, doing so may result in loss of data, so be careful in doing so.

5 Broken screen

Let’s get this out of the way first off; if you have an iPhone, it is very important that you get a phone case for it. Broken screens can happen very easily, so the best method to avoid it is to take preventative action. Saying this though, it isn’t the end of the world if the phone breaks. It could be as simple as taking it to a Phone repair store, in the hopes of getting the screen repaired.

Or to prevent this, having something like custom iphone cases, whether they are bought from a store or online could help protect the phone. The most important thing is to get the case to help lessen the risk.

But what if the worst has already happened? Well, if you have broken your iPhone screen, you are out of luck and have to take it to the Apple store to get it fixed. There are options to fix it yourself but do not attempt it unless you have any idea of what to do. Using a reputable iphone repair service is definitely a better idea than trying to fix it yourself. First of all, store all your data on iCloud or iTunes on the computer and then proceed. Now the options that you have are, to either call iCracked, which provides on-call mobile device repair services that are available worldwide. They will come to you and replace your iPhone screen for you for $180 in 30 minutes. Or you can take your phone to the Apple store and get it fixed with a prior appointment, which costs anywhere from $130-$150 depending on the model of the phone and takes around 60 minutes of waiting time. Or you can try fixing it by ordering the iFixit’s repair kit which costs $120 online.
