A research has been carried out in order to find out whether LAFS really exists or not and the results have revealed something shocking. The Journal of the International Association for Relationship Research published a study which revealed that the feeling of LAFS is related to physical attraction that can be called as lust.

4The research:

The research was conducted with 200 candidates going on 500 dates and then they revealed their feelings about the respective person with whom they went on date. The candidates were Dutch and German students, who were heterosexual and were in their mid-20s. In order to find out more accurate results, the study was divided in three parts.

5The three parts:

The research was divided in these three parts – online survey, laboratory study and 3 dates of at least 90 minutes each. After returning from dates, the candidates were asked whether they felt something like LAFS for their partner and how much they will rate their partner in terms of physical attraction.
