This woman had her face injected with something. Take a look at how she transformed
Getting a cosmetic surgery has become the new way to become beautiful. Earlier there used to be a social stigma attached to cosmetic and plastic surgery and people, especially women who underwent such surgeries were looked upon with disgust. But in today’s high tech world, cosmetic surgeries are done with so much precision and expertise, that only trained eyes can say whether the person has underwent any such surgery or not.
But these beauty treatments and enhancements cost a lot of money and some unfortunate souls who are hard pressed for money, approach the underbelly of the black market of cosmetic surgeries where unlicensed doctors perform surgeries using dubious materials and leave their patients disfigured.
Here is one such 47- year-old patient, a transgender woman who was left disfigured after a hack doctor filled her face with cement and tire sealant. Look how different she looks after corrective surgery in her face.
1 Rajee Narinesingh and the botched surgery
In 2005, Rajee Narinesingh, a man to woman transgender became a victim of a majorly botched cosmetic surgery. Since then, her face was disfigured severely and the Miami resident could not venture outside in the public. She was a victim of the fake plastic surgeon, Oneal Ron Morris. He used to perform cosmetic surgeries at dirt cheap prices, which actually cost their patients a lot. He used to use materials like Fix-A-Flat, cement and mineral oil in his surgeries. Rajee had her cheeks, chin and lips, filled by Morris as she was too broke to visit a proper plastic surgeon and was then left with a severely disfigured face.
2 Aftermath of the botched surgery
The aftermath of the botched surgery left her with a face that was as hard as a rock. Her face was filled with god knows what, as she attended a “pumping party”, where the fake doctor used black market fillers to do his handiwork. In Rajee’s case, the filler seemed to be cement, yes! Cement was filled in the face of a human. She also had butt and breast implants in 2005, which also had to be repaired. Rajee was born in New York and grew up in Philadelphia and said that “Up until I was in my mid-twenties I just thought I was a feminine gay male.”
She says of the botched surgery, “I got injections in my face and my hips and my buttocks and initially I was fine. But then the nightmare started. It first felt like a huge boil on the side of my face and then it kept getting bigger and bigger as the day went along. It got really painful and then suddenly green pus exploded out of my face and onto the mirror. It was green and yellow and mixed with blood. It was terrible.” She said that she spend $3,000 on the injections over a 10 month period of treatments by Morris.
3 The rescue surgery and the new look
Fortunately for her, a group of medical professionals heard about her case and decided to help her out for free. Coral Gables Cosmetic Reconstructive Surgery’s Dr. John Martin started her treatment with some softening injections and laser therapy to set the botched surgery correct. After months of such corrective surgeries on her face and other parts of the body and months of healing, Rajee is able to show off her new restored look that has instilled confidence in her.
She says that now when she looks into the mirror she feels much better. She feels excited for the future and believes that wonderful possibilities await her. She also added that now men seem to like her and have started approaching her. Rajee also wanted to use her experience as an example and warn others about the dangers of going to an unlicensed medical practitioner like Morris. Morris has been under trial of manslaughter as one of his patients died due to his surgeries and use of unlicensed materials.
