This woman born with a birth defect gets a makeover of a lifetime. This is how she looks now
Sometimes we are stuck in situations that we cannot get out of, and life gives us the only option of accepting it and moving on with it, as a part of our life. Every one of us have our insecurities, some have it about how they look, some about how they talk and some about something that they gained during their birth and which now looks bad on them. But some people who got the worst of it, use a very powerful tool of makeup to not only look different and beautiful, but it helps them to feel beautiful as well from the inside.
Here is a story of a woman who was born with a rare syndrome that coupled with an unfortunate accident left her disfigured. But that didn’t bother her much as she accepted what she was, dealt with it and now uses the power of makeup to give us a message- that do whatever you can, but unless you feel beautiful from the inside, you will never feel beautiful from the outside.
1 The woman with the horrific medical condition
Joanne Tronconi has lived her whole life with a very horrific mark on her face. She was born with the Klippel-Trenaunay syndrome, which caused severe swelling on one side of her face, disfiguring it. The swelling covers whatever area her birthmark, the port-wine stain covers. The swelling was the cause of a fall, she took on ice and since then she has had to endure curious and disgusted eyes of people wherever she went. She has learnt to live her life and says that she uses a method that not only makes her beautiful, but also instills self-confidence in her so that she can lead a normal life.
2 The Klippel-Trenaunay syndrome
Klippel-Trenaunay syndrome is a rare congenital disorder that is present at the birth and its main characteristic is the capillary malformation birthmark or the port wine stains birthmark. Other characteristics of Klippel-Trenaunay syndrome include lymphatic anomalies and abnormal veins in patients. It mostly occurs in the lower limb area and is seldom found on the face or upper trunk. It is caused by the cells that mutated in the womb and were supposed to become lymphatic cells, fat and bones. It is mostly treated with skin grafts and various other cosmetic and skin surgeries or if there is an overgrowth, then amputation is the only course.
3 Her son gives her a makeover she will remember
Joanne has got the power of makeup and her son helps her cover up the disfigurement under a coating of foundation that is specially made for covering up and adjusting the skin tone on the body and legs and hands. Her son then covers her face with mascara and eyelashes and this transforms her look completely. In the end, she finishes her look by applying some lip color to give color to her lips. She sends out a strong message that it takes some makeup and lots of confidence to feel beautiful and that beauty doesn’t come from outside, but from the inside and you won’t become beautiful unless you feel it from the inside.
