While roaming the streets of a new country you might come across people wanting signatures for some cause. The best thing we advise you to do is not sign it unless you are fluent with the language and can ask and understand what you are singing. Before heading to any new country always check online what their currency looks like and when dealing with money make sure what you’re receiving looks exactly as what you have and are using. Sometimes people try to hand tourists’ fake currency knowing they won’t be able to spot the difference. If caught with fake currency abroad you might even see jail time.

This is something that has been becoming popular in many countries, using children to extort money from tourists. Nobody wants to look like a bad guy who is mean to children in public so when they show up selling cute things most tourists will naturally buy it. The thing they do not realize is most of the money they give these children is going to be kept by the adults who are running this scam.
