Many people have a lot of difficulty in calculating percentages in spite of having a calculator. Take for example, if you were asked to calculate 4% of 75, you wouldn’t even bother because it would be too much botheration and a waste of your time.  But did you know that there is an easier way?

Half the internet isn’t even aware of the fact that there is an easier way of calculating percentages. Take a look at the trick Ben Stevens a math wizard posted on Twitter. Several followers and Twitterati commented on the ingenuity of the post which was actually so simple yet no one thought of it before.

4Just reverse the calculation

The day he posted it which as you can see is last week; it got several likes and comments. The answer to the solution, of course, is 3. It is much easier to calculate than having to solve 4% of 75. If you apply this formula to any other problem of percentage, you’ll find it actually works. The answer is always the same when you reverse the numbers.
