Every day, we come back from work or school and fallback on our warm and cozy bed. But did you know that most people don’t have that? A majority of people in the world do not have a warm home. In fact, some people call shacks and boxes their homes because that’s all they can afford. According to a study by Yale University 1.6 billion people in the world lack adequate housing facilities.

13A healthy life

We are lucky to be living healthy lives. We get to eat nutritious food, breathe in clean air and can make ourselves as healthy as possible. Many people don’t have the opportunity to do so. Most poor people can’t afford nutritious food. They live in slums in pitiful conditions. They have no proper sanitation.

Once you’re older you may think of your parents as an annoyance. But they did a good job raising you and you should never forget that. We may take our family and parents for granted but there are many people in the world who never now their parents. More than 150 million children worldwide have never known their parents. They are orphans with no one to love them or care for them.

15Healthcare

This is one of the biggest privileges many developed countries offer. Many places offer free or affordable healthcare that is of good quality. But there are several countries in the world where the condition of healthcare is pitiful. Most people can’t afford good quality healthcare and cheap or subsidized healthcare is of very poor quality. People die of easily curable diseases because of a lack of healthcare facilities.
