More than 72 million children are present in the world, that have had no formal education. And there are more than 750 million adults who can’t read.

You are lucky to be getting the opportunity to learn so, make the best of it. If you are young, you may think school is unnecessary. But remember that Malala was shot at for wanting to go to school. Education is the only thing that leads to empowerment and a good future. So don’t waste your opportunities.
9Clean drinking water
For most people reading this article, the water we drink is readily available to us from a faucet or a bottle. But many people aren’t as lucky. There are several places in the world, were the government doesn’t bother to secure water to remote villages. People have to walk long paths to get water. There have been several documentaries on the water crises in India and Africa.
The increasing pace of development and industrialization has rapidly degraded the environment around us. More than 92% of the world population breathes polluted air, according to WHO. Unhealthy air causes one out of every eight deaths worldwide. Appreciate the environment you are living in and know that everyone isn’t breathing the same clean air as you.
