2 Paintbrushes Were Taped To the Stomachs of Expectant Mothers

All of the expectant mothers were volunteers in the ‘Unborn Artists’ project where they strapped paintbrushes to their stomachs. The entire episode was videotaped and compiled into a short film to generate charity whose proceeds would go towards medical aid for expectant mothers in Africa.

The tips of two to three paintbrushes were taped to the stomach of the expectant mother. The bristle ends of the brush were dipped in various shades of paint. Then they sat and waited in patience for something amazing that would happen.

3 Magical movements by the unborn babies!

When the pregnant women experienced a kicking action by their babies in the wombs, the paintbrush would move creating patterns of paint on the canvas. It was simply incredible. Every mom-to-bewas able to interpret her baby’s feet action on canvas. Some movements resulted in a line across the canvas, some a mini cluster of colors and some bold blotches.
