3 The Safety Of These Procedures

Mark Mifflin, an ophthalmologist who practices in Salt Lake City said, “False eyelashes can cause side effects as minor as itchiness and redness, but also as major as a corneal infection. An abrasion of the cornea is like a scratch but sometimes those can actually become infected and that can lead to scarring.” The problem could even get escalated to the point that it results in loss of eyesight and damage to eye health as well.

Marisa Kelly, who owns a leading salon in Salt Lake City, Entice Lashes & Brows, says that most cosmetic procedure practitioners are now untrained or partially trained. This causes them to incorrectly conduct the process of eyelash extension. The false eyelashes are in fact being applied with tap and thus, this can lead to irritation, the glue used can even contain formaldehyde, which is toxic in nature. She did add that installing excessively heavy false eyelashes can cause some pressure to be created on the natural ones. This could lead to breaking of the original lashes. Kelly added that the cost factor too has to be borne in mind. Some packages offer extensions for as little as 30 dollars. This actually brings in the concern over quality as well.

4 What Lundberg has to say?

You need to start loving your natural beauty first and then think of enhancing it with a great personality.
