Satellite Images Suggests Coronavirus Spiked In Summer In China With The Number Of Infected Cases Close To 2.2 Million
8Coronavirus queries on the internet from Wuhan also increased
Tom Diamond president of RS Metrics said there was a very clear trend. As traffic increased around hospitals, internet traffic from Wuhan also surged with users on Baidu, the Chinese search engine looking for information of diarrhea, cough and flu. The study declared that ‘While queries of the respiratory symptom ‘cough’ show seasonal fluctuations coinciding with yearly influenza seasons, ‘diarrhea’ is a more COVID-19-specific symptom and only shows an association with the current epidemic.’ The study was published in the Journal Nature Digital Medicine. Some scientists felt the data was only suggestive and researchers were the only cherry-picking off the internet.
9Chinese scientists make another startling revelation
Regardless of whether the study lacks credibility or not, there are enough voices within China who had hinted at the truth. One such scientist from Hong Kong Professor Yuen published an unsanctioned study that applied the antibody rate to the entire population of Hubei that was 58.1 million. It found that almost 2.2 million residents were infected with the virus by mid-March.
102.2 million cases in comparison or the official figure of 68k
The study was published in the Lancet Microbe and the figure of 2.2 million is several times higher than claimed by the Chinese government whose figures remain at 68,135 as of march 31. The study was criticized by a Chinese newspaper, The Global Times which questioned if the professor was an aid of the United States suggesting he was working for Washington. A pro-Beijing being politician in Hing Kong Stanley Ng accused the professor of blackmailing the authorities by ‘politicizing science and public opinion’. He also slammed the professor for relying on his extensive 400 samples instead of echoing the official version of the Chinese government.
Professor Yuen has also been ostracized on Chinese Social media platform Weibo where some have called him a traitor too.
A separate study as reported in the daily mail suggested that of increased crematorium activity in Wuhan was evidence how China had covered up the true size of the epidemic. The study calculated the death based on crematorium activity. It found that crematoriums in Wuhan were seeing activity 24 hours a day working to full capacity and burning an estimated 2000 bodies a day by the second week of February 2020. At the time, the official death toll was 700, how was that possible. The study suggested that in March 23, almost 36,000 had died but the official figure was 2,524.
Irrespective of the truth, it is widely known that the Chinese government has a tendency to cover up the truth and lacks transparency in its dealings with the world. The coronavirus is proof of that.
