4In how many days will he cut the complete cloth?
This sailor has a nice piece of fabric which is 16 feet long. Now he has to start cutting away the fabric so he cuts 2 feet every day. If he carries on like that, in how many days will he have cut the entire cloth? It’s just 2 feet of fabric per day. Think logically here.
This needs a bit of thinking and a way with numbers. The sailor will take about seven days to complete it by cutting it two feet at a time. Did you think eight?? The thing is when he cuts the cloth; the last two feet will already be a piece and hence not need further cutting.
5She poisoned her son in law but how did she survive
Jane hates her son in law but yet she cooks food for him daily. One day, she cooked a nice juicy steak for him which she too shared. She ate half and she gave half to her son in law. After a while, he became blue and died from consuming poison. How come he died and yet nothing happened to her?
This also needs some logical thinking. She also consumed the same steak and yet nothing happened to her in spite of her eating half of the same meat. She laced one side of the knife with poison and the side of the meat which the poison touched; she gave to her son in law.

All the doors seem dangerous but then if you think of it, which lion can actually survive three years without eating any food. It won’t survive a month and when it is three years in question, the lion would be dead.
