New Study Reveals That Boys Are The Ones Who Need More Emotional Support

6We raise boys differently

There is no hiding the fact that we do not raise boys and girls the same way. Mothers do so but not fathers. For example, if a girl child trips and falls both parents will rush to pick her up. But, if a boy trips the mother will rush over but the father will just ask the child if he’s okay as we think boys are supposed to be strong.

7Boys are not supposed to be strong

See the above example is an accurate representation of why boys and girls are not raised the same and the reason why we have sexism, and the wage gap. From childhood, we’re taught that boys are strong and girls are weak. This is actually a wrong thing and every gender should be treated the same way regardless of age.

8Girls are given more emotional freedom

If a girl wants a pink room her parents will have only one question, which brand of color to buy. But, if a boy wants a pink room, that same question will be way lower on the list of questions his parents will ask. This does not apply to every parent but to a majority of them.

9This freedom helps them grow faster

There are very few things parents won’t let a girl child do. But that is not the same for a boy child. The number of things boys are allowed to do freely is quite less. And if the boy has orthodox parents then the list of freedoms he is given is even smaller.

10This affects them negatively

As we said before, boys’ brains develop slower than a girl’s brain which is why they get affected a lot more. Telling them they are not supposed to do certain things affects their developing minds and gives them a mindset they will have to live with for the rest of their lives.
