1 The mother’s incredible invention

Sally Copus is a Design Computing graduate living in Australia and she wanted to do something special for a fairy themed party for her 3-year-old daughter. She knew that her little princess had been captivated by the idea of fairies, and she had to do something, but what?! She was going through some ideas, when she thought that she should do something which would invite fairies into her house and this led to the invention of a ‘Lil fairy door’, as Sally likes to call it. This pretty door can be attached to the walls of the house, and every night, parents can go up to it, and leave messages, inspirational quotes and presents for their well-behaved kids, which obviously they would see the next morning. Sally had done it for her daughter, but something bigger was about to happen.

3 The kids love the pink door

Sally had surprised her daughter with the pink door, but now, she herself is surprised by the reaction she has been getting for her invention. She loves the fact that her fairy creation is encouraging children to use their imagination. The children also behave nicely, when they get positive reinforcement from ‘fairy notes’, and this solves the problems of so many parents.
