11She said she fought with all her strength

Paige said she tried with all her strength to try to pry the animal off of her but its jaws were too strong. ‘My body went into shock. So I couldn’t feel anything, I just knew it was bad,’ she recalled praying to God: ‘I’m 17, like, please don’t let me die. Like, I’m not ready to die, I have stuff to do. Like, so much.’

Her mom posted on social media saying “Surgery over she is still alive but one leg is gone. May need a hand transplant in the future and several on the other. Please keep her in your prayers.”

12Released from Hospital

In the latest news, Paige has been released from hospital. She seems to be optimistic saying “I was aware from the beginning, nothing’s gonna be the same ever again. Like, I’m still Paigey. Just a little different, I got some pieces of the puzzle missing, but it’s okay. I’d rather have to go through this tough journey than, like, not being able to use my hands. Not being able to, like, walk.’
