Man 27 Is Suing His Parents For Giving Birth To Him. Says Child Bearing Is Slavery

9Severe criticism on his page

Another named Melody Dawn wrote “There is so much that can be said about you but I think the only relevant thing is that you are a really sad little thing. You probably have wonderful parents who don’t deserve the injustice you are inflicting upon them. You are self-absorbed and a coward. Hiding your face so no one could throw rocks and rotten food at you because that is what you deserve.”

10He is supported by the anti-natalist movement

In one picture he writes: ‘The only reason your children are facing problems is that you had them’.  The anti-natalists in India argue that children are a strain on Earth’s resources and procreation should be avoided for environmental reasons. One activist called Pratima Naik wrote ‘We don’t want to impose our beliefs on anyone, but more people need to consider why having a child in the world right now isn’t right.’

11He asks why people bring children into this world

One of Samuel’s pages titles Childfree India wrote last month: ‘Should we continue to bring more children into this world and accelerate the process of environmental and social degradation? ‘Do you think existence is pain, and not bringing a child into this world, is a guaranteed way to avoid unnecessary suffering to the child? ‘We are a group of people who have decided not to reproduce. We are Childfree Indians!’

12A dangerous and unhealthy trend

As for Raphael Samuel and his suit against his parents, perhaps this is for enjoying the publicity it brings him but in doing so he is setting off a dangerous trend that is totally harmful to people in depression that may graduate towards his cause and question their own existence that could result in fatalities. As such, his actions are criminal in advocating nonexistence.

Life should be embraced as a child’s birth is not intended totally by parents but as a result also of instincts influenced by nature and natural law. We cannot prevent it but we can embrace it and though some may feel it is meaningless,  there is much we can do to lead a fulfilling life with the thought that until we don’t know what or what doesn’t lie beyond, we should not condemn it and neither should we be the reason for undermining another’s desire to live life.
