Journalist Uncovers a Secret-Government Facility by Accident and the Photos Reveal Our Worst Fears
In 2017, American Journalist Garret published a fascinating book about his investigation and discovery about the US governments secret bunker homes built into a hollowed-out mountain in Colorado called Raven Rock. His book was titled “Raven Rock: The U.S. Government’s Secret Plan to Save Itself While the Rest of Us Die.” It created quite a sensation by claiming that only 7000 Americans will be allowed in various top-secret shelters in the event of nuclear annihilation. He also claimed in his book that the government built more than a hundred of these bunkers and relocation facilities across the country. This is his story.
1He found something that would trigger a fascinating story
A historian and political author, Graff says that one of his colleagues found a government ID that obviously belonged to someone from intelligence. Graff then said his friend gave it to him saying‘I figure you can get this back to this guy.”
2A secret preparation going on since the cold war
Graf had covered several political issues and the 2008 US Presidential election but that little ID was going to be a life changer for him because what followed was a fascinating investigation into one of the US’ deeply guarded secrets, the secret of Raven Rock. The investigation that ensued would serve as material for his fascinating book which may even make your hairs stand on end.
3The road led upto the mountain
Graf noticed that the back of the ID had specific and accurate driving instructions. Graf then used Google maps to detect the location and was shocked. The directions were to Raven Rock in Colorado and the road just led right
4It was a massive bunker
Graf then began to describe what he saw and found which was a huge bunker of sorts “You can see very clearly these big concrete bunker doors,” he said. “This little guard shack, chain-link fence, and then this set of concrete bunker doors beyond.” What exactly had Graff stumbled upon?
5A bunker unlike he had ever seen
Graf described it as a facility unlike he had ever seen and it was not even showing on the map. Upon researching he found out that the directions led to the Raven Rock Mountain Complex which was just regarded by the government as Site R. What Graff had actually found was a nuclear shelter but who was it for. Graff began freaking out because he sensed he had stumbled upon something huge.
