10Mouse and Rat

Mice are smaller as compared to rats and are usually the size of sparrows while rats are much larger ranging between 18-25 cm in length. There is more biological difference between the two; rats have 6 nipples while mice have 5 pairs. Also, rats not only bigger but heavier as well, weighing around 350-650 gms and have longer tails (7-9 inches). Mice, on the other hand, weigh just around 30-90 gms only. 11Turtle and Tortoise

Turtles are usually aquatic animals and spend most of their living time underwater even lay their eggs underwater while Tortoise are amphibians and dwell on land and lay their eggs on land. Turtles are omnivorous animals while tortoises are vegetarians; also the turtle shells are lighter as compared to tortoise shells. Turtles do not live for very long (20-40 years) but tortoises live much longer on an average (80-150 years).

Easy way to make out the difference is to notice the snouts. Alligators have U shaped snouts whereas crocodiles have V-shaped snout. Also, alligators are only found in regions of China and Us while crocodiles are found all across the globe. Crocodiles prefer salty water sources while alligators prefer freshwater habitats. A full-grown crocodile is longer than an adult alligator also crocodile is much more violent as compared to alligators.
