These heart-touching photos will restore your faith in humanity

Every morning, when we wake up and see our newspapers, morning bulletins, or social media accounts, most of the stories that we see are of chaos and mayhem, that are destroying the world. The world seems to be caught in the negativity all around, but one should definitely not lose hope. As Mahatma Gandhi had said,

“You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is like an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty.”

And so do we believe; not every bad element makes the entire a world a bad place, there are some pure drops of water as well in the ocean; there are people out there in the world, who have a pure heart and a pious soul. They are the ones, who will restore your faith in humanity. Take a look at them and decide for yourself- is all lost, or is there still some hope left?

2 Blood donation while fasting

This picture may look like a normal picture of a man donating blood, but the case is not so. He is Mahmoud El Awadi, a Muslim, residing in the US, who donated blood after the Orlando Shooting. He was among hundreds of Muslims, who had donated blood for the victims of the attack, and the reason why we say this was a great deed was because they all did this in the holy month of Ramadan. Muslims fast for almost 15 hours each day, in this month, and despite having a fast, they all came out to donate blood.

5 Great Decision

When disaster struck at the Fukushima Nuclear Plant, after the tsunami that ripped Japan apart in 2011, a group of pensioners came forward to tackle the nuclear disaster. Yasuteru Yamada gathered people of his age-group to become volunteers at the power plant. Yamada was of the view that this was a logical decision. At that time, he was 72 years old, and said that he hardly had 13-15 years to live. He added, “Even if I were exposed to radiation, cancer could take 20 or 30 years or longer to develop. Therefore us older ones have less chance of getting cancer.”

This is a really cute one. The publisher of this book might have been an insensitive person, who could not give the correct options. But, this child showed him and the whole world that mistakes need to be corrected, even if that means, not taking one of the so-called correct options. The heart has to be in the right place.
