These Are Some Of The Harsh Truths Everyone Tends To Neglect
When we were kids we were full of imagination and innocence. We believed everything our parents taught or told us without questing them even once. But, as we grow older we start to see a change in the way we think. We start to realize that our parents weren’t always right about everything.
This is just one of the many harsh realities we have to face. But, many of us tend to just ignore them and act oblivious to their existence and carry on with our lives, which is a wrong thing. We end up doing a lot of harm to our own personal lives by neglecting the truth around us.
1No medals for work
It is a known fact that everyone works very hard at their jobs to impress their bosses. They even do this to impress their colleagues and then there are those people who work just way too hard at their jobs while hurting their health and mental well being. Those people need to learn you won’t get a medal for this. We live in a world where hard work does get recognized but it takes way too much time.

2What needs to come first?
Obviously, you need to be dedicated to your work before anything but there is a fine line between dedication and being a workaholic. There are many people who are just so dedicated to the work that they end up hurting their physical and mental health. These people will be pulling an all-nighter even if they don’t have to just to impress their bosses.

3Appearance does matter
You may have heard this argument that good looking people are accepted during interviews, overqualified people. This is not totally correct as you need to see the circumstances. Whom would you hire? Someone who is qualified with zero self-confidence and low personal hygiene or someone who is willing to learn but with great confidence and the ability to communicate?

4Body positivity
We live in a world where the term ‘body-positivity’ is being used a lot but that has raised a new problem as it is being used in the wrong sense. The problem is that people are getting confused between body-positivity and self-care. Yes, there is a big difference between body-positivity and self-care.

5Body-positivity vs self-care
You cannot keep dirty, unshaven, armpit hair and call it body positivity. You cannot keep long dirty nails and call it body-positivity. You cannot refuse to shower for months and have a strong disgusting smell and call it body-positivity. Body positivity is about treating other people with respect and accept their appearance as long as they keep themselves to a good hygienic standard.
