Girl who is fighting a rare bone disease gets the gift of her dreams on her 4th birthday

Olivia Mcormick is a four-year-old girl who was born with a rare bone disease that threatens her life every now and then. Her bones tend to break easily and then heal very slowly and painfully. She however, manages life with a smile on her face. Her fourth birthday was almost around the corner and she knew what she wished for this year. She wished for cards with which she could cover her walls. The local police heard about this girl and wanted to show their admiration by doing something for her.

1 What the police did for her?

The police force arrived at her house on her birthday with a big surprise. They brought her a bag that was overflowing with handmade birthday cards which were made by the police officers as well as the kids from a childcare facility. Olivia was extremely elated and she had ultimately got what she wanted- she had enough cards to cover the walls of her room. Her special day was as special as she wanted it to be.

Rare bone diseases can be really bad especially if it happens to a small girl. Though Olivia’s parents were heartbroken with the little girl’s condition, she continues to move on and accept life as a challenge.
