Facebook just launched its rocking new feature ‘Facebook Masks’ just in time for Halloween

Facebook fans rejoice because Facebook just made life more interesting for you. The social network has just rolled out its answer to snap chat lenses and has called it Facebook MASKS. Now you can make your Halloween all the more interesting with awesome ghoulie.

The social network will start adding the feature to live streaming services and will be available with the Facebook app as well. It will also be available on ‘Facebook Mentions’ for verified users.

1 Now Animate Your Live Videos with Masks

Facebook Masks will enable you to animate overlays to live videos. The filters are similar to MSQRD (face tracking which of course also belongs to Facebook.

The feature allows you to add animated overlays to your live videos. The filters themselves are pretty similar to what you would find in MSQRD — the face-tracking and 3D face-placement app that Facebook acquired in March.
