Energy Drink Addiction Is Real As 32-Year-Old Mother Learns The Consequences
In February of 2018 at Glenfield Hospital, she had the pacemaker fitted to her heart to help solve her health problems. This is where she realized her misdeeds and how her children must feel watching her go in and out of the hospital. The pacemaker may help but she needs to get it replaced every 10 years.
14Did the energy drinks actually cause all this?
NHS cardiologist, Dr. Aseem Malhotra said in an interview that there was no direct link between irreversible heart damage and energy drinks. He said that this could be a coincidence. He did say that Ms. Sharpe came close to developing type 2 diabetes and this might have been caused by the amount of sugar in those drinks.
15A second chance
After the pacemaker was fitted Samantha has been given a second chance at life and now she can do some good. She said that she feels bad seeing young children and gamers drink these energy drinks. She knows even school going kids have those while they study and get addicted. She said that people do not realize how bad these are for them in the long run and in high amounts.
