Domino’s found their regular customer was not ordering. What they found was shocking!

It pays to be a loyal customer to any business. Apart from the usual discounts and special offers, you tend to make friends with the staff and that brings another lot of nice things for you. You begin to share a rapport with them and they also start to care for you and you get special treatment from them.


This is what a man got when his life was saved by a pizza place’s workers. The man used to order from the same joint for 7 long years, everyday, without fail and when something wrong happened, the staff of the pizza place stepped in and helped out the man by saving his life. The man can also thank his habit of ordering from one place only.

1 The pizza-loving man

48-year-old, Kirk Alexander should be happy about ordering his food from Domino’s Pizza regularly after it saved his life. He had been ordering from the same Domino’s Pizza outlet in Salem. He used to order everyday without fail and used to live alone. Sarah Fuller, the General Manager of the Domino’s in Salem area said, “Alexander is a very well-known customer, but he doesn’t have a regular order – he’ll order anything from pasta or pizza to sandwiches or wings. It’s never the same thing every time.’ She added that Alexander used to be always quiet, but friendly and nice.

2 What was going on at the restaurant?

Alexander, who used to order every day for seven years without fail didn’t order for almost two weeks. The staff at the Domino’s place assumed that he might have gone out of town for work or to visit someone, but when he didn’t order for 11 days straight, they got worried about his well being. Fuller said that the delivery drivers told her that they had not seen his popping up on their screens for some time, and when she went to check in, she found that he had not made any order since 11 days, which was certainly not like him. Feeling that something was be wrong, Sarah Fuller decided to send an employee to Alexander’s house and check if everything was fine or not.

Tracey Hamblen was the staff worker who drove to his house on 8th May and knocked on his door and even rung the door bell. But she didn’t get any response from anyone in the house.

3 How he was saved?

She could see the television and lights on, so she decided to call him, but the call went to voicemail. Hamblen called up 911. The deputies and staff from Marion County Sheriff department arrived at the scene and they heard a man calling for help from the inside of the house. They broke into the house and found Alexander on the ground. He was then taken to the hospital and is now recovering. Paramedics are not fully disclosing as to what happened to him, but say that he might have suffered a stroke.

The whole story certainly tells a lot about how loyalty and dedication can save people’s lives. Here was one loyal customer and a company dedicated to its customers, and that is how a man’s life was saved. Fuller says, ‘We’re like a family here, and we were glad we were able to do something to help. We hope he’s able to fully recover from this.’ Here it is, this tells us why and how a loyal customer was saved.
