Cute Video of Elephant Pushing Away Visitors So Her Caretaker Can Sing a Lullaby for Her Baby
Chailert was nicknamed the ‘elephant whisperer’ at ENP
It’s hard to believe that Faa Mai was born at Elephant Nature Park. As a herd animal, she was surrounded by both her elephant family and human family and was loved by all—especially Lek Chailert, whom she had grown very fond of. In fact, the staff at ENP even started calling Chailert the elephant whisperer because Faa Mai was infatuated with her voice. Faa Mai really enjoys hugging, playing with, and kissing her beloved caretaker with her trunk. It’s a touching sight to see an animal expressing its affection for a person.
In the clip, Faa Mai wraps her trunk around her caretaker’s waist, trying to take her to where the baby elephant was
Finally, she brings Lek Chailert to meet her little friend. Lek says that Faa Mai decided to “adopt” the new baby elephant named Thong Ae rescued by the nature park and give her the same amount of love she received from her previous caretaker. Faa Mai then requests a soothing lullaby for the baby elephant. To say the least, this is a sight to behold.
Chailert begins singing the lullaby while the two elephants hold each other’s trunks and listen intently
She sat down while the two elephants held their trunks together and listened as she began to sing the lullaby beneath them on the grass. Gradually the young Thong Ae began getting drowsy and leaned down. She let Chailert stroke her back while sprawling out on the grass beneath a tree.
This just reminded Chailert of how kind, sweet, and thoughtful elephants are towards each other, especially their young ones
The moment was just another reminder to Chailert that elephants are wonderfully kind, sweet, and considerate creatures. Chailert said: “It’s so beautiful to see my little girl who has such a caring heart. I am so proud of this girl.” Now watch the video of that incredible moment.
