Circus Lion Attacks Trainer In Front Of Screaming Audience Watching Him Fighting Off The Animal

It has opened several times in the past and even as countries around the world are banning animals in circuses and live shows, there are still some places where it is allowed. In another freak incident where stressed out animals finally break and aggressively turn on the lion tamer, one lion suddenly attacked a lion trainer in front of a live audience right in the middle of his act.

1A lion suddenly attacks its trainer unexpectedly

The incident that took place in Ukraine was witnessed by several families including children who had all gone to see the act. Even as people screamed fearing for the life of the 32-year-old trainer Kouta, the lion attacked, bitten and clawed by the animal which overpowered him.

2A popular lion trainer but that wasn’t enough

Hamada Kouta is quite a well-known lion trainer in Ukraine but that wasn’t enough for this ghastly incident with no offense to the lion. The incident was also caught in tape and showed the animal overpowering Kouta and sinking its teeth into his arm even as it viciously clawed and mauled him.

3 It happened in front of a live audience

The terrifying moment in front of a live audience saw a scared Kouta being floored by the lion. He was probably a very lucky man who escaped with his life although he was badly mauled bitten and clawed on his arms, leg and back.

4The audience was stunned

The unexpected attack which occurred just a few days ago came halfway through the live animal circus performance in the city of Lugansk in eastern Ukraine. The animal finally left the cage but the audience was terrified and stunned out of their wits as that was a totally unexpected feature which certainly wasn’t part of the show. To sum up the mood of the audience a mother of two who had taken her kids to see the show said “My heart stopped when the lion pounced at the trainer.”
