Marking the 10th anniversary of Apple will be the much-awaited release of the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 plus scheduled for 22nd September even as pre ordering will be opening up on the 15th of September. As with all Apple handsets, demand always exceeds supply and there will be hundreds of iPhone users registering for their device even as we speak.

1 An all new glass looks being used first time in a smartphone
Perhaps the most awaited feature is the all glass design with aluminum framed glass body that will be made available in Space Gray, Gold and Silver. The device will also feature a type of durable glass that is being used for the first time in a Smartphone. The new devices more or less look identical to the iphone7 and iphone7 plus with a choice in size and standard bezels.
2 Wireless charging and faster processors
Wireless charging is something Apple has been contemplating for a long time and the iphone 8 and 8 plus will both have this feature that does away with cables. Moreover, the device will have a much faster A11 processor with and upgraded camera and True Tone display. Both options will also have IP 67 water resistant and dust resistant features.
Music lovers have much to be happy about as the iphone 8 and 8 plus will be 25% louder in volume levels and deeper bass for richer audio quality.
3 New and improved display with high performance 6 core chip
In the area of displays, there will be a new retina HD display with True Tone support for matching colors to ambient lighting and a natural paper like viewing experience. The other features such as brightness will be the same as the iphone 7 and the cinema wide standard color gamut is continued.
Speaking of hardware, the new release will feature a 6 core CPU A11 bionic chip with two performance cores that will be 25% faster and four efficiency cores that will be 70% faster than its predecessor the A10. The last we heard was that Apple is also going to introduce a second generation performance controller with the capacity to harness the power of all six cores at one time for better performance in multi thread and multitasking work. The A10 3 core GPU will also be 30 percent faster than the earlier A10.
4 A rich studio experience for photography lovers
For photography lovers, the features of iPhone 8 will have an improved 12-megapixel rear camera with dual camera setup. Both models have large and faster sensors, new color filter and deeper pixels. It will also feature advanced pixel processing, wide color capture, improved HDR photos and faster low lighter autofocus.
The flash on both models will have a new quad LED True Tone Flash with slow sync for a uniformed lit background and foreground. The video camera captures 4K video up to 60fps and 1080p slow motion up to 240 fps. What’s new is a video encoder that will provide real time image and motion analysis for improved video quality. The iPhone 8 plus will feature new portrait lighting for adding studio lighting effects to portrait photos.
5 Augmented reality and wireless charging mats
Among features of iPhone 8, users can expect augmented reality in both iPHone 8 and iPhone 8 plus with Qi-based inductive wireless charging support on supported charging mats. Cameras will feature individual calibration with new gyroscopes and accelerometers for improved motion tracking.
Both iphone 8 and 8 plus will be available in 64 and 256 GB capacity and priced at $699 and $799 respectively. Preordering will start on September 15th while an official launch is scheduled for September 22.
