As Per A Research, Bringing Up A Baby Is More Difficult Than Playing Sports, Here’s Why
Being a parent may seem to be a lovely responsibility but it is definitely a difficult one, especially when the baby is young. There are times when parents feel extremely tired, irritated and exhausted and they start doubting their own methods of parenting. Raising a kid has never been easy but now it has become more challenging because there are less people in the household. Earlier, when people used to live in joint families, they used to share tasks and the responsibility of the kid was also shared and young parents were guided by the elders regarding taking care of the kid.
Here are some reasons which can make you understand as to why being a parent is really tough:
1There is no break:
It is not easy to handle a new born baby for a new mother as her life changes completely after becoming mother and she also faces difficulty in adjusting to the new lifestyle. Taking care of baby is a monotonous and an exhausting job and getting no break in between can take a toll on the person.
2A study revealed:
The findings of a study revealed that a new mother starts enjoying her new role after six months of the birth of the kid as till then she gets adjust to the changes that have came in her life. A woman gets hugely affected not just physically, but emotionally as well when she enters the new phase of her life.
3Ask for help:
There is nothing wrong in asking for help from your family members, relatives or friends if any point of time; you feel that it is going out of your hand and you just can’t handle it alone. Hopefully, people around you will understand your problem as they may also have gone through this phase.
A research was conducted at the University of Belgium and it was found that it is highly educated parents who suffered the most parental burnout. The reason being that they set their standards so high which are unachievable and result in fatigue and mental problems too.
5There is nothing such as perfect parent:
One thing that parents need to understand is the fact that there is nothing such as perfect parent, you just need to understand your kid, take good care of him and make him feel comfortable. In simple words, parents should focus on fulfilling the needs of kid rather than setting unrealistic standards for themselves.
