8 Body Parts That Speak a Lot about Your Inner Self and Reveal Your Personality
Studies conducted at Orebro University in Sweden attempted to find if eye features could determine personality traits. 428 volunteers were chosen and researchers examined crypt patterns and contractions of lines resulting from pupil dilations along the side of the iris curve. The researchers concluded that the eye structure and personality are both linked to the frontal lobe of the brain which is the region responsible for personality formation.
What they found
Those with big brown eyes were found to be intelligent and natural leaders. Those with extremely dark brown eyes were introverted, secretive and mysterious. Those with light blue eyes with a curvy iris possessed plenty of inner strength and were competitive. Those with dark blue eyes were found to be physically string and sensitive. To summarise, those with darker eyes were introverted and mysterious while those with lighter eyes are extroverted and social.
A person’s eyes can reveal their emotions of happiness, sadness if they are emotional or angry. But their personality traits cannot be determined by looking at them directly. Experts believe that the shape of the eyes instead can provide insight into the hidden personality of someone’s character because of the skull bone structure.
Those with wide eyes were found to be expressive and emotional but also cautious and paid attention to detail. Those with big eyes were found to be intelligent, friendly and open-minded. Women with small and wide eyes were perfectionists and introverts while those with deep-set eyes were mysterious, intense and observant. People with almond-shaped eyes were found to be passionate and romantic while those with close-set eyes were intense, stubborn and persistent people.
Like your fingers your lips reveal a lot about your personality. Jean Haner who is a face reading expert found that lips affect personality and your nature towards others. Your lips depict your emotional side and the way you act and perceive personal relationships. Those with medium size lips were found to be independent people in a relationship; they enjoyed affection and disliked dramatics. Those with larger lips were found to be nurturing type of people who regarded the needs of others as more important than their own.
