Caitlyn Jenner, who was formerly known as Bruce Jenner is a retired American athlete, who won the gold medal in Men’s decathlon event at the 1976 Montreal Olympic Games. This win made her an American Hero, as the games were held at the height of the cold war and the previous winner of the decathlon event in 1972 was from Soviet Russia.
