Top 10 Makeup Ingredients that can Cause Cancer

When comes to makeup, besides that it is supposed to help you look more beautiful it should always be quality. Makeup is one of the few things (besides food and medicine) on which you should not feel sorry for spending money. It goes on your face, eyes and lips and you should never think twice before buying quality and checked products. But, no matter how careful you are you should know that there are some ingredients that certain makeup products can contain that are extremely dangerous and can cause cancer. That is the least thing you need. So, if you ever feel even the slightest itchiness after you apply your makeup or if that causes you any sort of irritation quit using the product and immediately see your doctor. Some makeup producers are still using synthetic makeup ingredients and simply lie to their consumers that they sell natural makeup.

#1. Imidazolidinyl Urea and Diazolidinyl Urea

These are the most commonly used preservatives after the parabens. They are well established as a primary cause of contact dermatitis . You ought to know that there are two trade names for these chemicals and those are Germall II and Germall 115. Neither of the Germall chemicals have a good antifungal, and have got to be combined with other preservatives. Germall 115 releases formaldehyde at just over 10° which are toxic.

#3. Petrolatum

This ingredient is occasionally on lip products, which is a lie because they’re usually advertised as protecting the lips from sunburn. Petrolatum is a mineral oil jelly, and mineral oil causes a lot of problems when used on the skin photosensitivity (such as promoting sun damage), and it tends to interfere with the body’s own natural moisturizing mechanism, leading to dry skin. You are buying a product that creates the very conditions it claims to alleviate. Manufacturers use petrolatum because it is very cheap.
