We may think that no harm can come out of sharing personal things. But that is a wrong idea. Personal items that are used by us, have remnants from our bodies. When someone else uses it, those things are being transferred to them. This can be quite harmless, but it can be serious if bacteria and other germs are involved. This is how diseases spread.
We have made a list of things that you should never share with anyone. You should also not use these belonging to someone else. Think of it this way- letting someone else use your items or using someone else’s is like giving a hug or kiss to that person. If you wouldn’t like that, then don’t share with them.

Personal items are things like toothbrushes, bath sponges, soaps, etc that we use for cleaning our body. They have an intimate connection with our skin and collects all the dirt that comes off our bodies. While these items clean us they also accumulate the bacteria that comes off us and even though we clean them a tiny bit of bacteria is left in or on them.

When we share our personal items we are spreading our germs to others. This isn’t a huge cause for concern as the number of germs being spread are in a tiny amount but still, this could be very harmful to certain people whose immune system isn’t strong. This is why we advise you to keep your personal items to yourself.
You can understand why something that goes into your mouth shouldn’t be shared with others! A toothbrush is one of the more personal and intimate objects in our daily lives. Sharing it not only would be spreading germs but also the mouth and saliva related bacteria. This is why dentists and doctors always recommend to never using another person’s toothbrush.
Earrings are cute and we love trying on our friend’s earrings just to see how they look on us, but there’s a difference between trying on and wearing someone else’s earrings for a short period of time. You are sharing your skin problems with them. This isn’t that dangerous but still, we recommend that you avoid it.
