Believing that hitting e-cigarettes as a less risky alternative for smoking real cigarettes made e-cigarette such a popular trend. Electronic nicotine products were thought to pose little health risks compared to normal cigarettes that is why most people would go for e-cigarettes instead of tobacco based ones.

8 Are you Safe in Smoking an E-Cigarette?

The reality behind smoking e-cigarettes makes your body ten times more prone to getting cancer. E-liquids contain the chemical substance nicotine in its pure form and when heated up, the effects of nicotine is not only doubled or tripled or quadrupled but ten times more than its effects.

Smoking isn’t the only threat e-cigs can cause a person, it’s also mere contact with the e-cigarette itself. Since e-cigarette is a man-made device it requires something that ordinary tobacco cigarettes can function without: electricity. E-cigs require electricity through batteries. What we don’t know is that some people actually get minor electric shocks from smoking an e-cigarette.

Aside from getting minor electric shocks, the voltage of your e-cig battery can also affect the way it burns and heats up your e-liquid. Different chemicals have different chemical reactions when they encounter different temperatures. And with every temperature, there is a repercussion you might actually not realize.
