The best times to drink water for best results
You know that drinking around 8 glasses of water is healthy, and that amount makes your body function properly. But what if we tell you that by drinking water at some specific times during the day, will make it work best for you. Take a look at these times, and drink water at these timings , and let your body work smoothly and perfectly.
1 Drink water right after waking up
You may not be feeling all that thirsty when you wake up, but trust us your body is trying to look for some replenishment. If it does not get that, it may not work properly. Drinking water first thing in the morning after waking is essential to make your internal organs work, your body will get the signal that it now needs to work, and you will feel fresh enough to start your day.
2 Before and after a meal
It is very important to drink water at least half-an hour before your meals. It will not only make your tastes buds awaken, but will also moisturise the stomach lining so that acidic foods are unable to make you uncomfortable. Also, if you drink water before the meal, you may feel fuller, and will most likely eat less. And this might become a factor in you loosing extra pounds, if you are trying to that. Drink water an hour after the meal, not immediately after it. This will help the digestive juices to work properly.
3 Before and after a workout
When you get ready to work out, you should drink some water too. Your body needs to stay hydrated because you are bound to loose water through sweating and physical straining. And drink some after the work out too, but don’t drink too much otherwise you may induce stomach cramps.
4 Drink water before going to public places
If you going to a public place especially through public transport then make sure you are hydrated. You never know what kind of germs people might be carrying with them, so if you have kept your body hydrated, the toxins and germs will not be able to settle in your system, they will be flushed out before they stick to the body to cause some damage.
5 Drink a glass of water when you are tired
With the constant working hours draining the energy pout of our bodies, we are bound to fell tired and may even want to take a nap, but it is not possible to take that nap always, so instead take a glass of fresh and cold water, and let it make you feel energised almost instantly. It will make your brain active and your body will get the alert signal.
6 Drink water before sleeping
Take a glass of water an hour or two before bedtime. Don’t drink too much; otherwise you may have to keep using the restroom all through the night. A single glass would do, and it is necessary as you may be sleeping, but your body will keep working throughout the night, and it needs to stay hydrated to be able to work properly.
So, try drinking water at these times, and also in between these times as you will only feel fresh and energetic with water.
