WebMD explains that “If a clot plugs up veins in your arms or legs, they may look bluish or reddish. Your skin also might stay discolored from the damage to blood vessels afterward”. If you notice discoloration of the skin on your leg it is recommended that you get it checked out.
Once a blood clot forms and results in swelling in your leg, the pain will soon follow. You will begin experiencing pain your calf at first and it will be like your leg is cramping or is sore. Get yourself tested if you are experiencing this symptom.
