Personal Hygiene Mistakes Most Of Us Make That Is Bad For Our Health
Personal hygiene is very important and the reason why we stay fit and healthy. Understanding personal hygiene is very important not just for ourselves but all for the people around us and is even more important when you are in a commercial environment. When you are in a public space, you have a higher chance of spreading and catching germs, especially if they don’t follow the basic hygiene rules. Commercial locations may want to make sure that they have sufficient Washroom Services on offer so that they can help to make the public a healthier place to be. This could significantly decrease the number of people who get ill. If we want to stay fit and healthy we need to know everything there is about personal hygiene.
As humans, we often think we know everything there is to know before we make a mistake that not only ruins our life but also affects the lives of people around us. Personal hygiene is important as it reduces the risk of spreading diseases around us.
1Sneezing without covering your mouth
This is something that is taught to everyone since they are kids but some people still don’t do it. Sneezing without covering your mouth means that germs that came from your mouth are directly transferred into the air around you being breathed by other people. If you see anyone doing this, let them know they are endangering other people.
2Not cleaning regularly used objects
Things like your car keys, your phones, and your iPads go everywhere with you. You use them all day and as a result, they accumulate a ton of germs. Many people don’t understand this but you need to clean these products every week at least. A bit of cleaner or rubbing alcohol is all you need to clean them.
3Not changing razor blades
Razor blades are metal and using them beyond the recommended time can cause serious health hazards. Replace your razor blade as soon as you notice any rusting or lack of sharpness. If you continue to use the same razor blades for months you may get nicks and cuts and even serious diseases.
4Not showering regularly
Showers are really important and that’s why everyone takes them (except Brad Pitt). You don’t have to shower every single day, but you should take at least 2 to 4 showers a week. Even during winter, it is important to shower. And you must shower daily if you work out or sweat a lot or work near chemicals.
5Using deodorant instead of antiperspirant
Deodorants and antiperspirants are not the same. Many people still confuse the two. While deos help control odor and add a fresh scent, antiperspirants actually block sweat. It is recommended to use antiperspirants only when you really need to stay fresh because blocking sweat is a bad thing.
