In a recent study of obese women, it was discovered that those who started their day off with a 350 calorie breakfast that includes eggs and beef patty sausages were less likely to snack through the day. In a recent study done at Scripps Clinic in San Diego, it was discovered that individuals who eat half a grapefruit before each meal lost an average of 3 ½ pounds over 12 weeks. While drinking grapefruit juice has been proven to have the same effects, it doesn’t have any fat burning properties and just will help you feel full longer. Also, if you are on certain medications they do interfere with the ingredients in grapefruits.
