1 We refuse to eat a big breakfast
It is more important to be punctual at what time you eat rather than worrying about what you eat. It has been proven by scientists from Tel Aviv University that the most effective way to maintain weight is to have a diet with light dinner and a big breakfast rather than having numerous small meals.
Breakfast is the biggest meal of the day
The reason behind this fact is because at certain times of the day, your metabolism rate is completely different. Scientists have concluded that you should avoid skipping a high calorific breakfast simply because it’s good for you. You can have a medium-sized lunch or some light salad or fruit and a light dinner.
2We don’t walk in the sunshine
Fat can be burnt by sunlight, mostly the tissues which are white fat. A study was conducted by researchers from the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada which proved that the size of lipids decreases when exposed to sun rays. This can partially be the reason that causes our weight gain in winter. It isn’t a good idea to spend too much time in the sun and wear sunscreen always.
Get your vitamin D from the sun
We do need some sunlight for our daily dose of vitamin D. The best time to get vitamin D from the sun is between 11 am and 2 pm. Approximately 15 minutes are sufficient depending on the location where you stay. In sunny areas, avoid the sun when it is strongest or apply a suitable sunscreen.
