In order to know the significance of breakfast, a team of researchers in the UK conducted a study to check the effect of skipping breakfast on glucose balance. In order to conduct the study, the researchers divided the participants into two groups. One group of participants consumed breakfast and the other group fasted till lunch. Both the groups are then allowed to eat whatever they want later in the day. After testing the sugar level of both groups every five minutes, researchers came to a conclusion that the participants who took breakfast had better insulin sensitivity than the participants who skipped breakfast. In other words, their blood sugar level remained more balanced than breakfast skippers.

If you miss your breakfast, your body will not meet the daily requirement of minerals and vitamins. It increases the risk of heart diseases
Studies have found that breakfast skippers have a 27% greater risk of developing heart diseases than people who take breakfast regularly. This may be due to the fact that breakfast skippers feel hungrier later in the day, increasing the likelihood of high blood pressure, obesity, and high cholesterol that causes heart diseases.
