This can lead to greater cardiovascular risk during winter months. Obese and overweight people are likely to be ones with high levels of cholesterol in the blood and such people are usually the first candidates that are prone to heart attacks and strokes during winters.

Lack of vitamin D is a major factor for heart failure, heart attacks, strokes and also conditions related to cardiovascular diseases like diabetes and high blood pressure. With sunlight usually lacking during winters, people are deprived of vitamin D and shortage of the same leads the heart to underperform.

Do not ignore any symptoms of a heart problem. If you notice symptoms like fatigue, chest pain, breathing problems, etc, then visit a doctor for immediate help.
This may sound cliché but cover up with warm clothes to prevent your body temperature from falling down to dangerous levels.
Try to avoid stressing yourself either mentally or physically. Do not indulge in the miseries of life as they come with negative health effects. Also, if you’re hitting the gym and working out with the treadmill or taking on weights, don’t go way above than required.
