Mother finds a magic cure on Facebook for her son’s medical condition
Sometimes when we are looking for answers to our most difficult problems, we forget that the places we tend to overlook due to our knowledge are the places where we can find the answers. Whenever the question is about the health of a child, the child’s parents, especially the mother will move mountains to find the solution and the cure for the same.
A mother from Australia just did that after seeing her son struggle with a scary skin condition since birth. She was even going half way across the world in order to find out the cure for the same, when she accidently found the solution at the last place she hoped for, the social media.

1 Boy’s extreme skin condition
Currently, Tyler Saunders is just like any of your six year old kids. He plays outside in heat, gets dirty in mud and has fights. But till now, he couldn’t do all this as he was busy fighting a serious and annoying skin condition. Tyler was born with eczema and by the time he turned 8 months old, the condition started to show its ugly head and became as serious as it could become. The condition used to become so serious that Tyler found it difficult to even sleep without experiencing pain and scratching episodes.
2 Problems faced by Tyler
Tyler’s whole body was full of the ulcers and boils caused by constant scratching. Sometimes the scratching and itching got so bad that he had to wear socks on his hands to keep him from scratching anymore and break skin. According to mom Debbie Maddalena-Saunders, “[It was] very traumatic. It’s a really underestimated condition; I can’t imagine how he felt. Watching on was hard enough.”
Sometimes it was even hard for him to walk, when the condition became too bad on his legs. All this has caused him to be irregular at school and causes him to stay out of public eye for extended periods of times. Ms Maddalena-Saunders, from Old Bar, north of Sydney, said “she had reached breaking point after spending years nursing her son as he cried through the night in ‘excruciating’ pain, unable to go to school, play with his sister or even perform mundane tasks like walking.”
3 The treatment was found on Facebook
Debbie was on her way to visit France in order to find a cure for the eczema, when she was surfing the social media for opinions and doctors in France. She accidently stumbled upon an article on Dr. Richard Aron, a dermatologist from South Africa, who had claimed to find a new solution on the page of Eczema Association of Australasia Facebook page.
This encouraged Debbie to consult the doctor online at first and upon his request, she decided to mail the doctor all the reports and after studying the case, Dr. Aron sent her the body cream that he had developed, it was known as Aron Regime. The treatment included readily obtainable products, viz. steroid, antibiotic and moisturizing creams, advice in regard to diet, sport and exercise, bathing, clothing and sun protection and all this created a holistic treatment structure’ as written on the doctor’s website.
4 The result of the treatment
Tyler started using the cream in September and by November, his condition changed dramatically. He no more had to wear socks to keep him from scratching his skin off. He also became a regular at school, missing it just twice since using the cream. Debbie says, “Watching him dance and seeing the joy in him after so much pain was overwhelming, I feel like crying every time I see him [dance] because he couldn’t do it for such a long time.”
She is happy to see the photos of her son’s condition change from being in horrific pain to being a happy kid, who now gets to enjoy the life to its fullest and does it without the fear of the dreaded condition hurting him anymore.
