Research Says Consuming A Lot of Garlic Can Make Men More Desirable To Women
Garlic is one herb that is both loved and hated in equal measure although some love and hate it together. While some love it for its food flavoring qualities, it is detested because of its raw pungent smell. Be that as it may, there is no denying the medicinal benefits of garlic as an herb that can prevent several diseases because of its anti-inflammatory properties. In the latest doing the rounds of the internet is an old 2015 study that is going to give garlic a huge boost especially among men because the study says that eating garlic makes men more desirable to women. Let’s read how.
1Forget about your deo, eat garlic instead
If you want more success with women, then forget about what garlic does for your body odor because that pungent smell which you think is bad could actually be a turn on for women or so that’s what the study says. So don’t bother with those expensive deo’s just start eating garlic as this once considered stinky herb can make men smell attractive for women.
2 What research has found
Research from the University of Stirling and Prague’s Charles University included 42 men who were separated into groups and made to eat garlic capsules, raw garlic or no garlic. They were then made to put on pads under their armpits for 12 hours. The pads were placed there to collect body odor.
3The odor filled pads were judged by women
Once the pads were soaked in their body odor, believe this or not but a group of 82 women were made to smell the pad samples and pass judgment taking in account masculinity, attractiveness, pleasantness and intensity.
4Garlic influenced odors were found to be more attractive
The women found the body odor of the men to be much more attractive than usual and even less intense when they had consumed the garlic capsules and raw garlic in comparison to when they had not. To this effect, researchers wrote “Certainly, breath odor plays a crucial role in most social interactions, but human axillary (armpit) odor is also an important factor in intimate relationships.”
5How odor influences social attraction
The researchers said that the results clearly show that while breath odor influences social interaction, body or armpit odor is important when it concerns intimate relationships. The study was published in the Journal Appetite. Perhaps after reading this, men are going to consume more garlic, it certainly is good for health but go easy on it as your breath won’t smell good as your armpits.
