5 natural ways to get rid of blackheads at home
2 Honey and Milk Pore Strips
The lactic acid in milk keeps the skin soft and shiny. Honey on the other hand has antibacterial properties. Mix these two together and you have perfect face mask for yourself.
Take 1 tablespoon of organic honey and mix it with 1 teaspoon of milk. Heat this solution for 5-10 minutes in microwave and blend the mixture again thoroughly. When it cools down sufficiently, apply the mixture in a thin layer over the blackheads. Now pat a dry cotton strip over the layer of honey and milk and leave it to dry for at least 20 minutes.
Now remove the strip with peeling it away gently. Now rinse your face and apply moisturiser as usual.
3 Baking Soda & Water
Baking soda can be a great remedy in removing blackheads because it contains small granules that can be used to exfoliate and remove anything that is clogging the pores. But do not over do because the saltiness in the baking soda can dry your face quickly.
Mix water to baking soda to form a thick, spreadable paste. Massage the said paste on your face very gently, using circular motions of hands. After 1-2 minutes, rinse your face with clean water and pat to dry your face. Do not forget to apply moisturiser after the baking soda treatment.
