This Malayalam language movie released in 2019 and was a super hit as it was based on the Nipah virus outbreak in the Indian state of Kerala in the year 2018. The movie was too close to reality and it also showed how the spread of misinformation affects the people.

3The Andromeda Strain
This movie got released in 1971 and it was based on the 1969 published novel of the same name. The movie deals with a US govt. The satellite which has returned to the Earth but goes missing. It was found by the military recovery team that the satellite has returned with an alien organism which was wiped out an entire city.

4Outbreak
The movie got released in 1995 and it is about the spread of a virus which was named as Motaba and was very much similar to Ebola. In the movie, the virus resulted in a lethal fever and it was first discovered in the jungles of Africa.
The movie also showed the limits that can be crossed by the government in order to control or stop the spread of the virus. However, what doesn’t go well with many people is the fact that in the movie, vaccine is developed in pretty less time while in reality, it takes months or years in developing a vaccine.
