15 Lies Hollywood Movies Have Made Us Believe Are True
6Keeping a finger on the trigger
This is not just false but extremely dangerous in the wrong hands. People do not keep a finger on the trigger as most guys have a very light trigger and if accidentally pressed a bit too hard the gun can go off. Many people claim that the safety is on when the finger is on the trigger to avoid accidental discharge but that makes no sense.
7Ninjas love black
This is false as the whole point of being a ninja is to blend in so most of them choose to wear ordinary clothing to blend in properly. If they have to attack at night they wear full masks and bodysuits that are made from grey material. This helps them hide better.
8Cars are tanks
Thank the ‘Fast & Furious’ franchise for this. Many people now believe that cars are a lot like indestructible tanks because in those movies they have been put through so much and yet they come out in working condition. You have to keep in mind that these movies don’t abide by the laws of physics you and I live by.
9Jumping into garbage bins
You’ve seen this a thousand times in Hollywood movies when a character is escaping they jump off into a garbage bin and get out unscratched. But in reality, they would get multiple cuts and stabs. Have you ever thought what is in a garbage bin? It’s not just stale food but also cans, glass, wood, etc. Not to forget that they will be landing in it with some force.
10The passenger in the back seat is in the middle
This is true for a while. When a group of friends get into a car and if there is only one in the back seat they will sit in the middle if there is a discussion going on. What is not real is the way they sit in the middle while the car is moving. In real life, the person would move to either side or get yelled at by the driver as they are blocking the rearview mirror.
