Game Of Thrones Fans Start Epic Scavenger Hunt To Find The 6 ‘Iron Throne’ s Placed Across The Globe

‘Game of Thrones’ is based on ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’ by George R.R. Martin. It was adapted for television and premiered on April 17th 2011. It has been 8 long years and show has millions of dedicated fans all over the world. The final season of the show premieres on April 14th 2019. The creators of the show decided to give the fans a little taste of what’s about to come.

Since the first season this show has captivated the audience members whether they read the book or not. With a fan following of millions this show is about to come to an end this year so the creators wanted to give back to the fans who gave them so much love and support.

While this TV show does not need any marketing as fans of this show and book series are in the billions, the marketing team thought that if they are going to do something they should make it huge. So, they came up with an insane and epic global scavenger hunt for all the fans to partake in.

3A hunt for what?

So, what will fans get as a reward for traveling the world? A real-life ‘Iron Throne’ just like the one in the show.  Yes, the show’s marketing team have placed six ‘Iron Thrones’ across the world for the fans to find and till now only 4 have been discovered. These six thrones were placed in 6 different locations for the quest to begin.

4Throne of the United Kingdom

We’re not sure in what order these thrones were discovered but we know there was one found in the forest of the United Kingdom. It was found in the Puzzlewood Forest in Gloucestershire by tourists and since it has become a local attraction for fans of the books as well as the TV show.

5Throne of Spain

Another one of the ‘Iron Throne’ s was discovered in Castello de Atienza, north of the Spanish capital, Madrid. Once the news of these six thrones placed in different countries went public the most hardcore fans began searching and now 4 out of the 6 have been discovered just under a month.
